Sree Narayana Samithi visited Mumbai at its Chembur office in Mumbai
The top level office-bearers of the Universal Confederation of Sree Narayana Guru Organisations (SNGC ) visited Mumbai Sree Narayana Samithi at its Chembur office in Mumbai, Sree Narayana Bhaktha Sangham in Thane and Sree Narayana Guru Samithi in Pune on November 10 and 11.
SNMS Mumbai gave a very cordial welcome to the SNGC office bearers and treated them with a sumptuous lunch. The office bearers held discussion with the members of the governing body of the SNMS which included Dr K K Damodaran, the emeritus president, president Mr N Sasidharan, General Secretary Mr N S Salim Kumar, Treasurer Mr V V Chandran, Mr K K Susmeran, Mr O K Prasad, Mr P K Venu, Mr K K Raghavan and Mr A K Venugopal.
From the Confederation side, President Adv V Asokan, Vice-President, G Rajendra Babu, Secretary General Peethambaran Kunnathoor, Treasurer Adv T S Harish Kumar and Sports Secretary Mr Binu Thankappan attended the meeting.
Sree Nararayana Samithi Mumbai has wholeheartedly welcomed the idea of forming a Confederation by bringing together all sree narayana organisations in the country and outside under one umbrella. The governing body of the SNMS expressed happiness in becoming a member organisation of the Universal Confederation and promised all support.
Later, in the evening the SNGC leaders attended the felicitation meeting arranged by Sree Narayana Bhaktha Sangham at Thane. The meeting felicitated Mr K Asokan, president of the SN Bhaktha Sangham for his selection into the panel of Advisers of the Confederation.
The Samgham has given a warm welcome to the Confederation leaders. After participating in the “Annadaanam” ceremony at the Sangham office, the office-bearers of the SNGC returned to Nerual and stayed the night at the Guest House of the SNMS there.
On Sunday, November 11, the captains of the Confederation left for Pune to attend the meeting organised by Sree Narayana Guru Samithi, Pune. Mr T V Reghunandan, the general secretary of the Samithi was waiting for the leaders at Wakad, where the Samithi temple is situated. Though the members were busy with Deepavali programs, most of the managing committee members attended the meeting with family members.
SNGC President Adv V Asokan, Vice-President, G Rajendra Babu, Secretary General Peethambaran Kunnathoor and Sports Secretary Mr Binu Thankappan attended the meeting.
The meeting felicitated Mr Reghunandan for his selection into the panel of Secretaries of the Confederation. The Samithi has given a warm welcome to the Confederation office-bearers.
