Main Activities of the Organisation Educational/Spiritual/Social Service
The Educational activities of SNMS Trust comprises of Sree Narayana Guru High School (English and Marathi Medium) State Syllabus, Sree Narayana Guru Central School, CBSE Syllabus, Sree Narayana Guru College of Commerce, Science and Management, Sree Narayana Guru College of Education (B.Ed.) Kumaran Asan Pre-Primary and Nursery School at Chembur Complex and SNG International School at Ulwe, Navi Mumbai. We are having International Centre for Sree Narayana Guru Studies at Gurudevagiri, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. It is a five storeyed building with stilt at ground floor. A World class library is also set up on 3rd floor with books on the life and teachings and philosophy of Sree Narayana Guru and other great Gurus. The library has facilities for doing research leading to Ph.D. Degree in the Philosophy of Sree Narayana Guru and other Wolrd Guru’s.Trust is having SNG Ashram at Haridwar.
The purpose is to propagate the ideals and teachings of Sree Narayana Guru especially non-malayalies. We are trying our best to translate various philosophical books in various languages to make it available in local languages to provide facilities for research on philosophies under various faiths. Yoga, meditation and other spiritual sadhanas are taught and practiced here on regular basis. Some of our social responsibility programs include mid day meal for school children, freeship to poor children,medical aid/camps and seminars, ayurvedic dispensaries, sports and cultural programs, women empowerment programs, seminar on legal awareness, Campus interview and placements, educational aids, Career Guidance and Skill Development programs etc.
