1st South Zone meet Of Universal Confederation of the Sree Narayana Guru Organisations
1st South Zone meet of the Universal Confederation of Sree Narayana Guru Organisations was held at Sree Narayana Mission Prayer Hall on 1st February 2015. Sree Narayana Mission, Coimbatore is an active member of this confederation having 56 years of existence in Coimbatore. More than 560 Life Members, 100 + Ladies Wing Members and 500+ Youth Members are there in Sree Narayana Mission, Coimbatore. They are having 3 Colleges and one High school and an Higher secondary School in Coimbatore. 2 Gurudeva Mandiram and a Prayer Hall to accommodate 500 people at a time.

SN Samithi, Bangalore,11.Sree Narayana Guru Samithi, Pollachi, 12.SNGDV, Visakapatnam, 13.Sree Narayana Mission, Coimbatore, 14.Sree Narayana Gurudeva Sangham, Trichy Road, Coimbatore, 15 Sree Narayana Guru Nala Sangham, Cheranma Nagar, Coimbatore)

The Southern Area Vice-President Mr K.C. Rajan of Bangalore Sree Narayana Samithi presided. Mr P.M. Vasu, Advisor, Mr Manikantan the area Secretary and the Treasurer Mr T.S. Harishkumar lead the deliberation .
Important points discussed were 1. Strengthening the Associations with an aim to involve all the Sree Narayana Guru Associations to unite under SNGC umbrella to propagate the teachings of Sree Narayana Guru Deva in effective way.
2. To Do the needful to establish the ‘Sree Narayana Guru University’ in Kerala or if not in any other part of India preferably in Tamil Nadu.
3. To conduct state wide Cultural Programmes & Competitions and finally at the National level.
4. To work for the Establishment of a 1000 beded Guest House at Sivagiri with the co-operation of Sree Narayana Guru Devotees.
5. To work for the progress of the society keeping in mind the Golden preachings of Sree Naryana Guru in mind.
6. To promote Educational facilities to downtredden by motivating the member association to establish more and more Educational Institutions.
